Come enjoy Japanese films rarely seen in the U.S. as the Heartland Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) Alumni Association and the Kansas City Art Institute continue this great tradition!


Single film tickets are $7.50 (adults) and $5.50 (students/children) for single films. All-day passes (4 films) are $20 (adults) and $15 (students/children). Pay when you register via PayPal or pay at the door with cash or credit card. (To buy tickets for two movies via PayPal you will need to register twice.)

To pick up tickets or all-day passes, give your name at the film festival ticket table at the Alamo Drafthouse. 

All proceeds go to The Taylor Anderson Fund http://www.taylorandersonmemorialfund.org/ Taylor Anderson was an assistant language teacher in the JET Program who died in the March 11, 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. This fund was established by her family to help students, schools and families in the Ishinomaki and Tohoku recover from the earthquake and tsunami.
